Program

The European Electrochemistry Conference (EEC 2026) will feature a robust and forward-looking scientific program structured into parallel technical sessions across the three-day congress. The program brings together electrochemists, materials scientists, chemical engineers, industrial innovators, and policymakers to discuss advances in electrochemical science, devices, and real-world applications.

EEC 2026 will host high-quality plenary, keynote, invited, and technical lectures from international experts, spanning the full spectrum of electrochemistry— from fundamentals and advanced characterization to energy conversion, storage technologies, electrocatalysis, corrosion, sensing, and industrial electrochemical systems.

Key components of the EEC 2026 program include:
  • Opening Plenary Lectures by globally recognized leaders in electrochemistry and energy materials
  • IAAM Fellow Assembly Sessions addressing strategic roadmaps, emerging trends, and future directions in electrochemical technologies
  • Parallel Technical Sessions covering electrocatalysis; batteries and supercapacitors; fuel cells and hydrogen; electrolysis and CO2 conversion; corrosion and protection; electrochemical sensors; interfaces, kinetics and modeling; and advanced electrochemical characterization
  • Congress Concluding Session highlighting key scientific outcomes, future perspectives, and recognitions

The parallel session structure provides flexibility for participants to engage with topics most relevant to their research and applications, encouraging interdisciplinary exchange and impactful collaboration throughout the congress.

Net Zero Congress Policy

AMC Assemblies is committed to implementing a Net Zero policy for the European Electrochemistry Conference. The environmental footprint of the event is assessed and managed in alignment with carbon reduction principles and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

While venue energy systems may rely on non-renewable sources, all other aspects of the congress—including accommodation, catering, transportation, and event operations—are planned according to minimum-impact standards, supporting emission reduction, waste minimization, and responsible practices.

Through these climate-smart initiatives, EEC 2026 aims to deliver measurable environmental benefits and invites all participants to support a greener and more sustainable scientific community.
