Visa Information

Letter of Invitation

If you require a visa to attend the Advanced Materials Congress, the organizer can provide you with an official invitation letter upon request. This letter may assist in obtaining the appropriate visa. However, please note that the invitation does not imply any obligation or responsibility for travel or other expenses. To request an invitation letter for your visa application, please contact us promptly and provide the following information:

  • Your full name (as per your passport)
  • Postal address
  • Date and place of birth
  • Passport number and expiry date
  • If you are giving a keynote, invited, oral, or poster presentation, please provide the abstract ID or title.

Visa Information

Most international visitors traveling to the United States for conferences, academic meetings, or professional events typically apply for a B-1 (Business Visitor) visa or use the Visa Waiver Program (ESTA), where eligible. Visa eligibility and application procedures vary by country.

Participants are strongly advised to consult the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate or visit the official U.S. Department of State website for the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding visa requirements and application procedures.

Please note that invitation letters will only be sent via email to delegates. Unfortunately, we are unable to coordinate with embassies or consulates regarding any visa-related concerns. As the participant, you are solely responsible for submitting and monitoring your visa application.

Travel Information

The American Advanced Materials Congress (AMC 2026) will be held at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, Campus Center, 150 Bleeker St #1982, Newark, NJ 07102, United States of America.

The venue is centrally located in Newark and is well connected by air, rail, and road, making it easily accessible for both domestic and international participants.

Arrival by Air

The nearest major airport is Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), located approximately 5 km (3 miles) from the NJIT campus. EWR is one of the busiest international gateways in the United States and offers direct connections to major cities across North America, Europe, Asia, and other regions.

From the airport, the campus can be reached within 15–20 minutes by taxi, rideshare services, or public transportation.

Arrival by Train

Newark is a major rail hub served by Amtrak, NJ Transit, and PATH services.

  • Newark Penn Station is the primary railway station and is approximately 1.5 km (1 mile) from the NJIT campus.

  • From Newark Penn Station, participants can reach the venue by taxi, local bus services, light rail, or a short walk.

Train connections are available from New York City, Washington, D.C., Boston, Philadelphia, and other major cities along the U.S. East Coast.

Arrival by Public Transportation

The NJIT campus is accessible via NJ Transit buses and the Newark Light Rail system, with stops located within walking distance of the Campus Center. Public transportation offers a convenient and cost-effective option for local and regional travel.

Arrival by Car

Participants traveling by car can access the NJIT campus via major highways, including Interstate 280, Interstate 78, and the New Jersey Turnpike. Public and private parking facilities are available in and around the campus area. Participants are advised to check local parking regulations and availability in advance.

Local Travel

Newark is located approximately 25 km (15 miles) from Midtown Manhattan, and travel between Newark and New York City is convenient via train, PATH, or car. Rideshare services and local taxis are widely available throughout the city.
