The EAMC 2026 conference will feature a robust scientific agenda, structured into parallel sessions across three days. With over 200 presentations from 50+ countries, the congress will showcase interdisciplinary innovations by leading scientists, industry leaders, engineers, and policymakers across the advanced materials domain.
Key elements include:
- Plenary and Keynote Lectures
- IAAM Fellow Assembly Sessions on future materials strategies
- Technical Sessions covering energy, biomaterials, AI, smart materials, nanotechnology, and circular economy
- Congress Concluding Session with recognition and outlook
The parallel structure enables participants to explore high-priority topics aligned with their interests, fostering impactful collaboration and global knowledge exchange.
The sessions and symposia will run on Central European Time (GMT+2).

Program Notes
The European Advanced Materials Congress will take place from 25 – 27 August 2026 aboard the M/S Cinderella, Viking Line Cruise, sailing from Stockholm (City of the Nobel Prize and Capital of Sweden) to Helsinki (City of Nokia and Capital of Finland) and back to Stockholm.
- All scientific sessions and lectures will be conducted in English within the onboard conference center.
- The congress will commence with registration and check-in on the M/S Cinderella in Stockholm.
- Social activities will be organized in both Helsinki and Stockholm, led by English-speaking guides, to foster international networking and cultural exchange.
- Please note: This is a tentative program. Topics may be rearranged, replaced, or removed in the final version based on participation and organizational adjustments.
