Program
The European Spectroscopy Congress (ESC 2026) will feature a robust and forward-looking scientific program structured into parallel technical sessions across the three-day congress. The program brings together spectroscopists, analytical scientists, engineers, industry experts, and policymakers to discuss advances in spectroscopic methods, instrumentation, and applications.
ESC 2026 will host high-quality plenary, keynote, invited, and technical lectures from international experts, covering the full spectrum of spectroscopy — from fundamental principles and method development to in-situ analysis, industrial deployment, and data-driven interpretation.
Key components of the ESC 2026 program include:
- Opening Plenary Lectures by globally recognized leaders in spectroscopy and analytical science
- IAAM Fellow Assembly Sessions addressing strategic roadmaps, emerging trends, and future directions in spectroscopy
- Parallel Technical Sessions covering optical, vibrational, magnetic, mass, X-ray, and electron spectroscopy; advanced instrumentation; in-situ and operando techniques; and AI-enabled spectral analysis
- Congress Concluding Session highlighting scientific outcomes, future perspectives, and recognitions
The parallel session structure provides flexibility for participants to engage with topics most relevant to their research and applications, encouraging interdisciplinary exchange and impactful collaboration throughout the congress.
Net Zero Congress Policy
AMC Assemblies is committed to implementing a Net Zero policy for the European Spectroscopy Congress. The environmental footprint of the event is assessed and managed in alignment with carbon reduction principles and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
While venue energy systems may rely on non-renewable sources, all other aspects of the congress; including accommodation, catering, transportation, and event operations are planned according to minimum-impact standards, supporting emission reduction, waste minimization, and responsible practices.
Through these climate-smart initiatives, ESC 2026 aims to deliver measurable environmental benefits and invites all participants to support a greener and more sustainable scientific community.
