Everything you need to plan your trip to Stockholm for 9–13 August 2027.
Venue
Days 1 and 2 take place at a conference venue in Stockholm, which will be announced once confirmed. Days 3 to 5 are on board, sailing from and returning to Stockholm.
Getting to Stockholm
By air — Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN) is the main international airport. The Arlanda Express train reaches Stockholm Central Station in about 20 minutes.
By train — Stockholm Central Station has direct trains from across Sweden and from Oslo and Copenhagen.
Within the city — the metro, buses and trams use one ticket system (SL); you can pay by contactless card.
Where to stay
Book a hotel room at the IAAM rate (€175 per night) when you register in Lattice.
Visas
Sweden and Finland are both in the Schengen area. If you need a Schengen visa, apply in good time; once you have registered and paid, you can download an invitation letter in Lattice.
Weather
August in Stockholm is usually mild, with long days. Bring a light jacket for evenings at sea.
End of the week
The ship arrives in Stockholm at about 10:00 on Friday 13 August. After the city tour, the programme ends around 12:30 near Cityterminalen and Stockholm Central Station, convenient for the airport train.
